Emily Page Lockamy

Emily grew up in Massachusetts and went to college in New York City. She moved back to the Boston area for graduate school and earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. Today, Emily enjoys living in her husband's home state of North Carolina with him and their two children and working as a freelance writer and psychotherapist. Emily's writing on grief, mental health, and parenthood appears in online publications including Reader's Digest, Babble, Modernloss, and Motherly. Emily is a prolific reader who also enjoys walking and jogging at Wilmington's many wonderful parks, skiing (though it's been a while!), and spending time with her friends and family.
